VISITOR CENTER

Lookout Pass Ski Area serves as a visitor center for both Idaho and Montana, and provides official state maps as well as general tourist information. Visitors Center is open 8 am to 4 pm daily in season. 

RESTAURANT

Our Deli & Grill offers hamburgers & deli sandwiches and other hot food items in summer. We also provide a variety of snacks and beverages. Enjoy a relaxing lunch on the lodge deck with mountain views that occasionally offer sightings of moose, elk and deer!
Sack lunches to go are available for those that want to take something to eat or drink while on the trail. These sling packs are loaded with a Turkey, Ham or Vegi sandwich, a Bottle of water, Chips and an apple for $18. Order this when making your reservation or when at the cashiers station prior to your ride. 

A variety of domestic beers are also available at Ski Lookout Pass. You must be 21 years or older to order a beer and have Id.

Summer scenic Chairlift Rides at Ski Lookout Pass

Scenic Chairlift Rides are available at Ski Lookout Pass that take you to the mountains summit on select Saturdays & Sundays: You can pick Huckleberries on the slopes in season.

Lift Runs as needed: 10a to 3p PST. 

Get your lift ride tickets inside at the food court.  

RESTROOMS

Both men and women's restrooms are available in the main lodge. There are also Forest Service restrooms available out along the trail at these locations: Easpt Portal, Roland, Adair & Pearson.  

RENTAL SHOP

Mountain bikes, comfort bikes, helmets, 300-400 lumen lights, tag-alongs, Burley Trailers for young kids, Bicycles built for two, Recumbents and other equipment are available to rent for use on the trail. Please see the Equipment Rental page for specific items and rental prices. This rental shop can also perform equipment adjustments and minor repairs.

GIFT SHOP

Lookout Pass Gift shop offers various souvenir items, Post Cards, Hats, Patches, T-shirts, some protective garments, Sun glasses, Books of local interest, and personal care products such as chap stick and sun screen. We also offer a smaller selection of items at East Portal. 

OVERNIGHT RV PARKING

Overnight parking is permitted for FREE in the Lookout Pass parking area for Self Contained RV vehicles. Please we specify that you park in the bottom lot closest to I-90. Please do not park in the main paved lot as that sees brisk traffic every day.
For those requiring services like a dump sight etc please visit Mullan, Wallace, Osborn all in ID west of the mountain. Or head East to Superior, MT for Full Service & Specialty RV Camping locations. There are also a number of Forest Service Camp Sites down below the trail on FS Rd 326 and a large field for RV's just across from the East Portal Parking area. NO overnight Parking permitted in the East Portal Parking area.   

HIKING, MOUNTAIN BIKING & FISHING

Nine of the region's "best kept secrets" in adventure trails take off from or near our base area. Hike to high elevation lakes in the St. Regis or Copper Basins where cutthroat trout are abundant. Climb Stephens Peak, the highest peak in this section of the Bitterroot Mountains, or pick huckleberries starting in August thru Early September on the ski area summit. Trail maps are available in the lodge. Lift Served Scenic Chairlift Rides are available on select Saturdays. & Sundays at Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area over the summer.
