Last Day to Ride a bike down the trail is Sept. 13, 2026.
Hiawatha Trail – Fall Back into Nature Run – Sat. Sept. 26th
Marathon, 1/2 Marathon & 10K run on this historic Rail Trail. Park at East Portal to start your run going through the signature 1.66 mile long St. Paul Pass Tunnel. Yes lights are required. All courses are Out & Back. Event put on by Negative Split Timing. The Hiawatha Trail will be closed to bicyclists on this date and only employees and emergency staff will be riding the trail on June 7th & September 26th
2026 All Summer HOT DOG DAYS – EVERYDAY!
Enjoy a tasty HOT DOG (or a few) when you arrive at the bottom of the Hiawatha ride in Pearson, Idaho, you can purchase and enjoy a Hot Dog. Dogs available every day of the season.
Remember to put a CC or some cash in your pocket before leaving the Taft trailhead parking lot for your ride.
Hot Dogs available 11am to 4pm (or while supplies last) at Pearson the bottom of the Hiawatha Trail.
Hiawatha Night Ride – 2026
$40 for the Ride & Shuttle, or $65 to Upgrade to the Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Snack, Water & Sticker Package.
Join us: Dates June 27 & August 1, 2026!
Join us at East Portal at 7pm to stage bikes and get ready to ride! There will be an optional dinner before we set out on the trail.
1st of 2 – FULL MOON NIGHT RIDES is JUNE 27, 2026.
2nd FULL MOON NIGHT RIDE will be August 1, 2026.
Lookout Pass Season Pass Holders Free Shuttle Pass

If you already have your 2026-27 Ski Lookout Pass Season Pass get a FREE Shuttle Pass! Simply show your pass at our Season Pass Ticket office and they will issue you a Shuttle Pass for the day.
Free Bicycle Bell Day!
September 5th
Any person with a pass valid for this date can receive a FREE Bicycle Bell (while supplies last).
Free Shuttle Pass for Military & First Responders
June 10th | September 13th
All military branches—Active, Reserve, and Retired with a valid service ID—including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, as well as first responders (Fire, Ambulance, Police/Sheriff, and Highway Patrol), will receive a FREE Trail Ticket for the day.
Simply present your official ID to our Season Pass/Ticket office and you will receive a FREE Trail Pass for the day.
